Bucket List!

Best time to visit

Espiritu Santo Island is great to visit any time of the year. October and November, in particular, offer the best conditions for snorkeling. By November, the sea lion pups have learned to swim, creating lively underwater activity. We suggest bringing light jackets in winter because of the season’s cold fronts.

While the hot months from June to September make hiking challenging, they’re perfect for exploring the island’s many beaches and snorkeling at various spots in the archipelago. However, swimming with sea lions is restricted from June 1st until August 31st due to the breeding season.
